Touhou 8 - Imperishable Night - Spell 199 Uber Method

Yeah, the alternate method. I guess you can say that that is a euphemism for "running laps around Mokou while your screen gives you a seizure."

This isn't essentially hard: there is more or less a general path that you need to follow in order to stay alive. The path first appears through trial and error, and after grinding it, you will notice that the path makes sense with the layout of the familiars situated about Mokou. After that, all it takes is consistency. Unfortunately, that's problematic with this method: I've had many occasions where I've died at the 39 second mark (gah), only to follow it up with a handful of runs where I couldn't even do a single 360 around the screen.

This took a severe amount of patience, and as with several other cards that consumed a lot of my time, I am never touching this one again :P

How can you move up-right and down-left while shooting?

@bjwdestroyer *Facepalm* No. I mean when I'm shooting (holding z) and I try to move up-left or down-right (sorry for text mistake in last post), it just doesn't let me. Even when I go in those directions when I'm not shooting, it does let me but I can't shoot while im at it.

I actually have a similar issue, but it involves my keyboard failing to register 4 buttons being pressed down at once. My keyboard is perfectly fine with 3 buttons, so unfortunately, I don't know why you're having problems.
