Shelby: Mount Nittany Dog Training Club Agility Trial, 05/02/09

This is Shelby, my 2003 red Shiba Inu female, and I running in the Excellent A Jumpers w/ Weaves at the Mount Nittany Dog Training Club AKC agility trial in Central Pennsylvania. This was a special trial for me, as the first agility trial I saw years ago was held by the MNDTC; that was the trial that sparked my interest in agility and made me decide that I'd pursue the sport with my dog. We had a clean run that earned us first place--our first qualifying run in Excellent Jumpers! :)

ive always wanted to do agility with my dog but shes australian sheperd\golden retriever and she has bad hips... shes about 9 years old.... i do some low jumps outside.. haha sometimes i even think shes a horse for a moment

Yeah, if you're seeing the onset of hip stiffness or dysplasia, you don't want to cause more harm than good. Sorry to hear that!

she doesnt get hip stiffness just in general but when we take long walks she gets some hip stiffness but shes a tough dog and doesnt let us think shes hurt... thx

HAHAH OMG.. she is so cute!! theres wus a time rite before she jumped tht she shook her head as if saying.. omg this is so fun!! AHH look a jump! HAHA... i love ur dog!!
