it was a controlled kick with spin that was a pass to a particular player if you look at the shot in context. if it hit a solid object it would have simply stopped and fallen. if you believe theres a UFO there then go watch a pro soccer game, invisible UFO's are messing with the game all the time! This type of thing happens all the time in tennis. You and a friend whack a tennis ball around for a bit and you will see it on more than one occasion
