wow, I'm a Christian too, but I can feel the power in this song. So amazing and beautiful. If anyone can help me, I'm researching different religions in witchcraft. This song is called the Kore chant, could someone explain to me what or who Kore is? I'm really curious, thanks!

Kore is a name this is used for Persephone. In the myth, Persephone is the daughter of Demeter. Hades, the king of the underworld fell in love with her and kidnapped her. She was told as long as she did not eat anything she could return. She ate a pomegranate seed and was forced to stay. She loved him and was fine with that but her mother mourned and begged for her to return. Zeus agreed she could return for 6 months every year. She returns and bring spring and summer. Leaves 4 fall/wintr
