Sonic Adventure 2 - Easy Way to Get 99 Lives

Most of everyone that watches the Sonic Adventure 2 videos I do probably wonders how I got 99 lives. Well, I came up with a fairly simple method to getting 99 lives rather easily. It's not instant, but it doesn't take more than 30 minutes (unless you're really, REALLY bad at the game). Well, the real easy way would be to get some cheat device. But I don't have any for Gamecube, and that would be cheap anyway. So here's my legit method.

The Sky Rail level that you play as Shadow in has numerous amounts of free lives just hanging around. I've found 7 of them, plus 8 if you count accumulating 100 rings as a life. Let me state that there may be other simple ways to gaining lives in other levels, or maybe even an easier method, but this is the one I found, and use. I happen to like the Sky Rail level anyway.

Anyway, if you follow the video guide you can get 7-8 lives per run. Each run takes approx 2 minutes. 120 seconds * 13 runs (8 lives each) = 1560 seconds / 60 = 26 minutes. Of course it's just an estimate, adding onto loading time and possible deaths. If anyone has a better method though, tell me and I'll add it into the description.

There is one way. Go to City Escape Mission 3 (or any other of Sonic's or Shadow's stages mission 3). If you get to the Goal Ring, you will be teleported back to the beginning, and all the coins will be littered around the level. It took me 3 runs to get over 900 rings. Use this method. It only takes 9-10 minutes. Trust me. Your ring amount will stay the same.

i personally like metal harbor, the level goes fast and u get 4 lifes each run, possible deaths are rather unlikly and i just enjoy the level more. (time i run it in is around 1min 50sec.

there's an easier way. Go to wild canyon, climb to the first pole to your left, and there's a life right at the top. it easy to repeat

i Have one that is kinda easier but its slower (?).

Just start Pumpkin Hill, fly to the spot where the digging tool was and dig there.

Then quit the level and repeat. It may be a little slow but its easy

I just use the security hall overflow glitch - 99 lives in 2 minutes :p
