  • @talkingducksrgreat - like rainbows and sunsets, some things just cannot be explained...

  • @OriginalRitz - well, imo they were peaking in 1977, continously... the band had jelled together, the harmonies were working, Jerry was in a great mood, the whole band was on fire. Check out some of the other selections from 1977 that i uploaded, they created this magic over and over again, right up to their trip to Egypt in autumn 1978. Sadly things took a darker turn in 1979, with Keith and Donna eventually leaviing...

  • @chasefukuoka61 but hey... after that things with brent.. brent was a rock n roll key boardist..he gave the band a boomy rock n roll vibe.. listen to 7-21-90.. brent is on fire

  • Thanks SOOO much for posting this, man. Between 1975-1979, I saw The Grateful Dead in concert about 25 times. Best times of my life. This is NOTHING like a Grateful Dead concert! And, I don't care what anybody says, I loved Donna! So what if she was off-key sometimes. She was a classy and beautiful hippie chick with a warm vibe and amazing smile. Keith was a lucky guy.

Pigpen, Brent, Jerry ... sigh, God bless them.

Peace & Joy ... Fan of Janis

  • Im ganna say this and its prolly going to start a war but why do people click on the link if they dislike it?
