i think the media is taking this far too seriously. there has been other movies with the same thing in it , for instents Bastard out of carolina with Jena Malone and i think she was 11 when she did that movie and then theres An American Crime with Ellen Page same thing thats Dakota Fanning is doing but a litle differant.

they should focus on actual child abuse - first and formost - dakota new what she was taken on - and obviousely she's perfectly fine - with acting - even though it's a real thing i've been through it - and i was younger than her - difference is she was in an outfit and acting - they have to take into account - movies = make believe - they go out they're way to make sure they're fine

I love dakota she is brilliant, she knows what she wants n she wanted to play this role like she said n her parents were fine with it, they raised her very well she is doing nothing wrong she was 12 which is old enough to me,if she was like 4-9 years old i could c having a bigger reaction, but the media needs 2 back off,you can't stop these stupid perverted freaks out there anyways.
