Synopsis: A man sits at the edge of a forest gripping a bloody baseball bat contemplating what he'll do next.
Super 8. Silent. 2009. Shot on Kodak Ektachrome 64T
This silent film was created for the Calgary Society of Independent Filmmakers (CSIF)'s In Camera Challenge where participants had to create a film with one cartridge of Super 8 with in camera edits. That meant only one take of each shot in story order.
I have left the film as I shot it. I transferred it the poor man's way and had to adjust some shots so you could see what's happening.
Written, Directed & Photographed by Steven Kajorinne
Starring Samuel Hoeksema & Tyler Provincial
Make Up Effects: Michele Sinclair
Script Supervisor: Marc Drebit
Production Assistant: Rodney Rutter
@jacksandfives The "Fall Game" title card was a 22"x28" black poster board with paper letter stickers on it that I shot in the parking lot of the shooting location. The end credits were 11"x17" pieces of paper I printed off at a print centre, stuck against the wall and lit evenly with two light sources. I metered with a white blank piece of paper first thinking it would expose properly for the white letters but I guess not enough light reflected off the small letters and they were under exposed.

What did you use for the credits and title cards? "Fall Game", "makeup effects", etc.?
