  • I think part of the reason why Mick never got put into that group of guitar gods is because he wasnt trying to be one.

First and foremost, he wrote guitar parts to support the song, not to show off. He never put all his cards on the table.

However, Mick can tear up a jam without even trying. Search for his live solo in "Width of A Circle" on here. Easily rivals any of the classic guitar gods' solos.

  • Ronson was the perfect compliment to Bowie...he's never had a guitarist as good since.

  • Oh! The tone.

  • my favourite song, apart from Anything to see you. solo to die for

  • The playing on this track doesn't give Ronson guitar god status as it's more or (mostly) less the same way Craig Fuller played it on the original Pure Prairie League track. Fuller's take on it is way more impassioned than this, and it's a great shame that he isn't recognized for it.

  • Mick you was my Guitar idol miss you so much :(

  • Ahh Mick <33 You were so special.

  • Mick passed away 18 years today

    RIP

  • One of my favorite ronno tracks... thank you so much for posting.

  • RONNO!!!!!!!

  • Micks guitar solos are masterpieces of simplicity. He could turn one note into a symphony.
