Can someone be really emotionally bonded with hamsters and cry a river when their hamster dies? If it's dogs - of course owners will cry when they die. Hamsters, dunno.

@FattyDudley She was my first pet and she died last night in her sleep. I cried a little and I think it is possible if you feel "connected" to your little warm-hearted friend.

@egyptiancow101 their main active time is at night and sometimes you will see them at day, carrying their nuts and salad into the cave or drinking water :)

Cool hamster mate!! i have one just like yours.. i got it 5 days ago and she's very nice and likes to be hold.. have fun with your hamster and plz take care of him.. hamsters are great animals :)

@FattyDudley You will cry when they die. You become so emotionally attached to these little guys. They really are like a dog. They love you and depend on you like a dog. I have 3 hamsters at the moment and I know for sure when they pass I will be crying my eyes out.

I got my first hamster on September 20, 2009. He died December 14, 2011. He died of old age, also peacefully in his sleep. It is really sad and you will cry. But I was happy he had a long happy life and died peacefully and not in pain. He was a campbell Russian Dwarf hamster. They make great pets. Rest in peace Chico <3

@egyptiancow101 Teddy Bear Hamsters and Golden Hamsters are the same thing. They are Syrian Hamsters but the pet trade gives them "cute" names to make selling easier.
