not in Mahatma Gandhi case. he got the damn ENGLISH to leave india without violence. so, an effective way to rid injustice is by the right acts of nonviolence that expose the governments injustices. violence just creates more violence in most cases. but yes, is still effective. it just depends on your opinions...
