-
@nonfluoridated Too late.
-
@qusola I think you meant "These men are kings".
-
Michael Ignatieff and Stephen Harper are Bilderberg scum and have the exact same agenda.
Liberal vs. Conservative is a false paradigm.
The true fight is Global PRIVATE Interests vs. Free Humanity.
You will not get your new world order.
-
@JanBee1122 I agree. I have a problem with declared leaders--but that too--is part of parliamentary democracy. Ignatieff is the legitimate leader of the LIberals. And I think you're wrong about Duceppe. He's a decent man, as is Ignatieff. It's a real shame he' s a separatist, but separatist or not, he shares many of our values--like universal health care--values NOT SHARED by Mr Firewall Around Alberta. Personally, I think we should kidnap Elizabeth May & make her lead the Liberals.
-
@JanBee1122 Quebec's "demands" haven't led to Harper. For years now, separatist sentiment in Quebec has been on the wane. But I worry that if Harper gets a majority & starts putting pot smokers in prisons--the separatists might actually win a referendum next time. No. WHAT'S LED TO HARPER IS PUBLIC APATHY abetted by lots of misinformation in the corporate media. Look at The National Post, The Globe & Mail & Maclean's. So right wing they are proto-fascist. Anti-working man. Pro "free trade."
-
@JanBee1122 QUEBEC HAS MADE US FRIGGING AWESOME. Have you ever partied with Quebecers during a riot? There is nothing like it. This IS no ordinary election. Harper is nuts. Evil. He's not just a well meaning asshole or just poorly informed. He's mean. As for Ignatieff. He's a pragmatist. He won't deliberately harm this country. And I don't buy the conventional wisdom that all politicians are "stinking corporate, banker globalists" --but that's a great line. What about Tommy Douglas or Pearson?
-
@mightymissk So, Quebec has made us strong and united and are the bastions of tolerance? And, we must vote for ignatieff? Come on, is this what you are trying to get me to swallow? The time to have told our friends "this is no ordinary election" was about 50 years ago. Our political-hoars are all part of the same, moral-less, glop of stinking corporate, bankster globalists in this new millenium and NOT ONE OF THEM has our country's interest at heart. NOT ONE!
-
@JanBee1122 First, Quebec's "demands" have not debilitated us as a nation. In fact, the opposite is true. That's just CTV news and Sun newpaper propaganda. Quebec doesn't actually want to leave. Harper won't be the pretext. Harper will be the straw that broke the camel's back. Quebecers just won't tolerate living in a bankrupt right wing police state. We might, but they won't put up with it. And my suggestion is VOTE. Get your friends to vote. We need to tell people THIS IS NO ORDINARY ELECTION.
-
@mightymissk Also, I have a problem with leaders being "declared". Ignatieff was not voted into his position as leader of the official opposition...he attained it because the elected leader was forced out. Why is this allowed to stand? Why should Canada being going into any election with a leader of a party who was not voted in? The coalition was illegal from that standpoint and Quebec had no real pull at the table since Duceppe stands only for what is right for Quebec and Quebec ALONE.
-
@mightymissk Then what is your suggestion? I know that Quebec leaving will create the great fracture required to dissolve all of Canada, but therein lies the problem as it has always been. To keep Quebec in is just as disunifying to Canada because Quebec makes demands that no other part of the union makes or can keep up with. It has debilitated us as a nation. What is the answer? Quebec demands have led to a leader like Harper and we will all suffer the consequences for it.
-
@JanBee1122 They may all work for corporate masters--BUT HARPER IS A DISCIPLE OF RIGHT WING EXTREMISM. If Harper get a majority, we're finished. He will privatize our public lands & resources, bankrupt us, then announce that since we're bankrupt--no more universal health care. Quebec will leave & we will be fractured. Torn asunder. Easy pickings. Voting may not be the whole answer. I actually agree with you on that. But unless we stop Harper before he gets a majority there will be nothing left.
-
@mightymissk They ALL work for corporate masters. Each one of them. I do not support Fascist Harper, I can assure you, but if you think putting any of these other puppets into power is the solution, then you are wrong again. I have no idea what the answer is, but I know it's not going to be something conventional, like voting.
-
@JanBee1122 I said Vive le Quebec--NOT Vive le Quebec libre. And Duceppe DID offer to join us in a parliamentary coalition against Harper. THINK ABOUT THAT. Separatist Quebecers, so worried about Harper's right wing extremism that they were willing to join with federalist Canadians to stop him. HARPER WORKS FOR HIS CORPORATE MASTERS. He's a real fascist. Don't you get it? If he gets a majority it will be as bad as if your shadowy Bilderberg group had taken power. Sorry about the idiot thing.
-
@equitemcroce Chill pill? You better wake up and get rip snorting mad about what is going on around you, kiddie. Global governance is coming your way and Harper and Iggie and Layton and Duceppe are ALL FOR IT. Canada has already made secret agreements with the US to share military troops in times of CIVIL unrest. This is no longer the country your Liberal die hard family USED to vote in. The vote is dead. Harper is clearly planning to stay regardless of the outcome of the next election.
-
@mightymissk Hey, asshole, did I say I was for HARPER? You are the idiot, buddy. And you proved it with your battle cry "Vive le Quebec libre", ...so "Canadian" of you. And if you think NOT keeping your eye on Bilderberg is smart, then I there is really no hope for you at all. If you want Canadians to work together, then maybe you could start by getting your compatriots in la belle province to join us rather than actively working against us in every facet of our collaborative society, eh?
-
@JanBee1122 Hello? You might not have noticed, what with keeping an eye out for the Bilderberg Group & all--but Harper REALLY IS A RAVING FASCIST. And if he gets in power Mr Firewall Around Alberta truly will "finish us as a nation" as you say. We will be serfs. And when we get sick, our wonderful socialist health care system that we built, will be gone. Harper is the enemy, you idiot. And fuck you about the Quebecois. Vive le Quebec. We are ALL CANADIANS. WE NEED TO FIGHT HARPER TOGETHER NOW.

who is this guy? he looks like the grinch who stole Christmas.
-
who is this guy? he looks like the grinch who stole Christmas. At least at my age I can tell what a douchebag looks like.
-
Go Michael! I loves you! <3
-
I'm sorry but Iggy is not what I want for Canada. Harper is a paranoid and power hungry Prime Minister but I don't think Iggy is a good substitute. Above all, this man does not represent the nature of the liberal party. As a life time liberal (i'm young so that's not that long) I fear that Ignatieff represents a break from the Liberal Party of Canada my father, my grandfather and I grew to know and love. He'll heat-up American-style right-left politics. Btw, JanBee1122...take a chill pill
-
I hate that fucker
-
okay, relax there don't get so dramatic
Ignatieff will make Canada proud again. We've had enough of Harper. He is too divisive. He is already running attack ads since his leadership is slipping away. He's pitting immigrants against established Canadians. We need a Prime Minister who unites the country (or at least tries to). Harper always causes division.
