Sad how neither of our governments care about the non wealthy. I mean that royal wedding shit went on for weeks. It was on every nation media outlet. Maybe once a week someone would mention where to send money to the Red Cross. Imagine if y'all's Birmingham was damaged and all y'all saw was the Kim Kardshian wedding everywhere you looked.

The royal wedding really pissed off people in Southern U.S, I mean, at same time 250 + people had been killed in tornadoes and all we saw on national news were these two inbreds and their stupid ass wedding! Hey, towns were wipped off the map, Tuscaloosa looked like a bomb hit it !Near my house an old age home was flattened! F U William and Kate!

I used to walk the streets of Liverpool+was touched to the core by the amount of homeless people sleeping rough in doorways.I now live just outside Brighton,proportionally the homeless figures are actually worse.

Last week it was freezing,gave my coat to give a "child",a wee gal of 16 thrown out of the foster system as her paid for "parents" foster money had stopped.This country is in crisis,so many forgotten folk,whilst these bastards profit!

the royal family use 40 million of tax payers money each year but they give 200 million to parliament every year from the land they own. they also generate around 7000 million pounds worth of money from tourism..... i think they have the right to spend any amount on the wedding that they want.

@MuonRay (sorry i ran out of space there) but thats another thing! when your rich people might want to kill you and steal your money. but hey lets go even farther with that! a family member could come to you in your sleep, smother you with your 1000 thread count pillow, and claim the money. its hard to be rich! you also have to worry about apperances, employes, etc. and for the people who win the lottery, chances are they spent a 1000 dollars trying to win the big lottery ticket.NOT EASY!!!!!

Looking at that homeless man makes me very sad, he is forced to live in squalor while others live in luxery. Is it luck, fate, God's will? no, such things do not exist. We make the world the way it is. The homeless man also fills me with hope with his sign, he may be trailing now but he recognises the injustice; what could be more noble that speaking your mind, even in the face of hopelessness. He wants to be part of the change, not merely want it, because their is greed and it must be stopped.

From a fellow citizen of the USA; I know that these are British issues, but I want to say that you have my support in bringing down the monarchy. It is an archaic tradition that needs to be squashed. Those millions of dollars spent on the wedding, and the taxes you pay in order to maintain the monarchy is ridiculous. Make the change, people! We're in the 21st century! No one should bow down to no one, for they (the monarchy) aren't higher nor are they lower than you. We are ALL equal!
