@severzero Yeah, customer service close to home is always easier to deal with. Hoping my flashlight stays alive for a reasonable amount of time. I use it at work where its constantly getting wet and dirty and so far so good.

@Circa1990 I agree surefire does put out less than other lights on the market. Just an update fenix has sent me a new light to replace my ld10 r4. They sent me a ld10 r5. It took 5 months for them to get me a new light but oh well at least they replaced it. I just like surefire because they are american made and have great customer service.

@severzero I'm new to the brand but my PD32 was $70, and is rated for 315 lumens. It was released a few months ago. I just feel like Surefires current lineup is behind in power for similar size/battery setups. Both are good lights for sure though

Time tested over tacticool I'll take the surefire any day

hey guys, what about LED LENSER
what you think

@iTek42 Point taken, I completely agree with you. Yes Fenix is a good brand, but they are not close to the level of quality of SureFire. As far as the "luxury" comment, I was just trying to be funny :). Take care.

@beardown555 I wouldn't consider having your life dependent on your tactical light as a luxury. But yea, I agree with you in that Fenix makes some awesome lights. My Fenix TK35 that I recently received for Christmas is probably my favorite light so far. However, my point was that of all the lights I've owned, my SureFires have never failed me. None of them. I can't say the same thing for my Fenix lights (TK 21, LD20 have both failed).

@iTek42, Fenix is definitely not an off brand. They have some of the toughest lights out in the market today and that's a fact. I own both and I honestly feel my T1 and TK11 are tougher than my 6P. As far as betting my life on a light, I'm quite sure most of us will never see that luxury.
is there a way to make my flashlight brigther or is the lumens just going to stay the same as when i bought it? and if i could get more lumens, what are the steps to take?

@123VampireSucks if you're referring to the surefire you can buy a drop in LED.

hi does the SF 100 lumen = 100lumen any other brands like 4seven or fenix ? or SF is brighter ? thank you !

@bcv001 yes lumens are a set unit of measurement. so a surefire with say 120 lumen output is the same as any other brand with 120 lumen output. thanks for watching!

Nice vid, man. But you really can't compare these two brands. Surefire is like buying name brand foods in the grocery store, while Fenix is the off brand. I own several from both companies and love them both, but Fenix doesn't compare to SF. I'm in the Army and have used both brands in tactical situations but if I had to bet my life on one, it would be SF.

@iTek42 i would say they are both name brand, with surefire you are paying for the warranty and modularity. i would also argue fenix and its related brands are more cutting edge than surefire, and more reliable in my personal experience. either way you are getting a good light. admittedly i am more of a knife guy so with flashlights i want them to work, be as bright as possible, have decent run times and most importantly be cheap. anyway thanks for watching!
