5 Stars! I added today one more item to the things that we should pray for, including praying for the peace of Jerusalem Psalm 122:6 as it is written.

Amen to that.

You are being deceived by denominational churches.
The word "peace" in Strong's Number 07999 means 'friendship of human relationships with God especially in covenant relationship'.
There isn't going to be peace in Israel. The only way for the Jews to receive peace is through the cross. Call me antisemitic all you want.
Read your bible and do not trust in denominational church. The Sinner's prayer is unbiblical. We need to be baptized for salvation.

@Jtaylor1 I so study my Bible and I haven't gone to a demoninational church since I was a child, so therefore my studies of the Bible are my own doing.
The Greek word for peace according to the number you gave me is this:shalam
So I don't know where you got your information from but it's wrong. We are to pray for the PEACE of Jerusalem. Sounds to me like you're listening to doctrinal teaching.
all who call upon the Lord will be save. the calvinist god is a false god.

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem.
Those who love you will prosper.
Psalms 122:6
Looks pretty Biblical to me. Now when we pray for the peace of Jerusalem, we are praying for the return of Jesus, who is the only one who can bring real peace.
To say this is not Biblical is very wrong.

@bfk187 Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee. Psalms 122:6 There's no lie in this scripture, and I believe that God desires us to pray for the peace of Jerusalem.
