  • @Reazzurro90 It did help the renaissance by giving it a small, if not big boost.

    Constantinople has never been Bulgarian.

The Bulgarian Empire attacked the city, and besieged it, but failed.

    Constantine was not Bulgarian.

Bulgarians are a people that came hundreds of years after Constantine. Justinian wasn't from Thrace. He was born in Dalmatia, from a Latin-speaking family, which probably suggests he was Italian, if anything.

  • @AbrahamMat

    No.

The Renaissance was long flowering in Italy, where the Holy Catholic Church faithfully preserved Roman civilization, copying texts and furthering sciences, until the outright explosion of learning during the rise of the Italian city-states in the 12-1300s.

  • @AbrahamMat

i'm so fastenating in the arabic culture!

  • the birth of the renaissance did not come from Constantinople, ironically it came from a place called Iberia(Spain) from ancient writings from both Jewish, christian, and Muslim writers. Islamic Spain during this time was a thriving place, with many faiths, philosophical views. writings from the time suggest, cities of Toledo and Granada all had warm running water and lush gardens the envy of many christian kings, quite different from the cold and damp darken castles of Europe during this time.

  • @panosmel97 Well then there's nothing you can do with stupid people that want to deny reality.

  • @arkenstone65 it is but still people question.actually a lot of tests have proved it.only test who denied is a test who sais that chinese are not chinese :/ and was never published in a high rate magazine.

  • @panosmel97 I believe you, it's easy to prove with DNA testing.

  • @Lhein33 i know dude.its just a lot of people are telling that we modern greeks are slavs/egyptians and shit because we were all called the same back then.i know this is somewhat true but still.2 days before the fall of κωσταντινούπολη the emperor said 'YOU ARE THE DESCENDERS OF ROMANS AND GREEKS' and this is right huh?i mean saying byzantium was entire true is false.the trut is that it was greco/roman (roman empire greek culture, language, thinking and most of population) corect me if im wrong.p

  • @panosmel97 The Egyptians had a uniqueness in the ancient world & in the empire. They were a hoary civilisation; a lot of Greeks (Plato) admired their culture and considered them to be keepers of ancient wisdom.

That's why the Greeks & the Romans respected their administration and their rulers were named pharaohs in Egypt; that's why they were not called Romans as a people, although there were Egyptians who were civites Romani.
