Wow! Seriously, to have power in the media is to wield a weapon of mass mental destruction. Any psychologist knows (as well as all governments) that influencing or controlling the media and its messages, blatant & subliminal alike, is crucial to influencing the masses. That's normally true. However, once the pendulum of change has begun to swing in the other direction, there's not stopping it. These commercials are a desperate, if futile, attempt to thwart that inevitable change.
