  • You mentioned only cotton works for charcloth and nothing else. Actually, any natural plant fiber cloth will work, e.g., cotton, linen, or hemp. Synthetic-blend materials are what you want to avoid.

  • I have discovere that using toilet paper seems to make the best charcloth.

  • Cotton wool balls will work,thats what i use.
