People like to talk about crazy church dancing and shouting using the phrase "the Holy Spirit gets in her", but on top of outwardly looking foolish to anyone not overcome by the trance, the fruit of the Spirit passage in Galatians says that one of the fruits of the Spirit is SELF-CONTROL. So a person dancing out-of-control in this hypnotic state is proof that the Holy Spirit is not in someone. Not saying you can't dance for the Lord, but it is obvious this kind of dancing is not from His Spirit.

Yea but when you say stuff like that you're a "pharisee". I left a church where people headbutted walls and clothes lined one another and said it was the holy spirit when I spoke up I was the modern "pharisee".So I bucked the system.

@urbanprophet590 My goodness! I know of what you speak. Sometimes folks would stretch out across the floor after shouting. They would say "God was dealing with them". I just thought they were running out of breath. I don't mean to sound sarcastic or anything. This video bothers me. Everyone is jumping and giving cash to the charismatic Sanford and Son. Its wrong.

But yea It's sad to see the state of the church people come looking for God and end up finding Christian voodoo! Just teach the scriptures and love the people unconditionally.I don't think they understand that their accountable for human souls.

@Soulja4Alethia This is so very true. I believe in the quickening power of the Holy Ghost and I continue to experience God's presence and anointing. However I can't get with the marathon shouts that drag on and on and on. I am glad I was reared in a ministry that taught us not to look unseemly in praising God. I have heard preachers say "lets give God a crazy praise!" The God I serve is not crazy.
