What I don't believe is that free will differs from an atheist or a religious person, both can achieve it if they just start using their brain and if they read history, not the bible because it is not a history book in the sense of being chronologically factual, it is riddled with doctrine and disinformation in order to instill the fear of god onto the reader with an ulterior motive. To last question I will let you tell me, you seem to know more then I and I accept that, out of my own free will

The special effects team must have had a rough time due to the lack of technology, but the screen writers were great. No wonder Spielberg makes such great movies, he has it in his genes.....:-)
Or perhaps the credit should go to the writers, I understand their were many that collaborated in the writing of the Bible over several centuries, somewhat the ancestor of Wikipedia, we could say, right?

As an atheist on what basis do you believe in "Free Will"? How does chemistry produce freedom?
-
You are free to believe all that mumble jumble but don't drag others into it. I believe that I am exercising my free will that was not given to me by any pseudo creator. Thank god...him again, that we don't live in the days of the inquisition. People like me would have been burned like many were by people like you who believed to posses the truth and be blessed by some divinity they or others had invented for them. Oh and did you know eternity is very long, especially towards the end...

As I said you will have eternity to think about how you chose to reject HIM. I pray that Jesus will do whatever it takes to bring you to HIS perfect peace. We only have today, tomorrow isnt guaranteed but judgement is. This is simply a loving warning, I cannot do anymore. I will fast over this situation that you continue to reject HIM. The one who died for you, and rose again on your behalf. You still have free will that is given by our creator.

They sure did a great job of lobotomizing that brain of yours. Nice stuff though that comes out, it sounds so duhhhh how should I put it....divine, yes divine is how it sounds. Oh and I suppose he left you that information on you answering machine or did he send it by email......:-)

GOD is present for all to see, if you ignore HIM then thats your will. HE respects those who continue to reject HIM and gives them the seperation in the end. HE provides for us all, every heartbeat that we cant even control is proof enough. True peace is onlu through Jesus along with complete satisfaction in life. When it comes down to it, your making the decision for yourself and have eternity to ponder it.
Why do you speak of the jewish experience with god? Has anyone ever met god? You should say the jewish version of the god invention, because it is an invention of man to control others threw fear of a so called deity that one should fear.....Who wants to fear his leader? This is a paradox and contradiction to human nature, we need to admire and respect and want to follow a leader not fear him. That's where all religions drop the ball in my opinion.

1. THE JEWISH EXPERIENCE OF GOD: If you read the early chapters of Exodus you will see that Moses was looking after his sheep when he saw the burning bush. He did not want to go back to Egypt but did because he was convinced that God was speaking to him. God promised him that after He liberated the Hebrews from their slavery they will come back to that mountain to worship Him. A mass of slaves saw God deliver them from slavery. from a mighty army, from Red Sea, hunger, thirst etc.

Moses was looking after his flock when he saw the burning bush and encountered God. He had no desire to go back to Egypt to liberate the Hebrews but his encounter at the bush convinced him that God was asking him to go. Then he saw the incredible miracle in Egypt, including the parting of the sea. A mass of slaves were liberated, survived the desert for 40 years and took over the "Promised Land". Have you read the book of Exodus. It cannot be understood except as God's intervention in history.

Thanks for making the point that ideas have consequences - and where many ideas in American culture come from. Please keep your excellent videos coming.
