A lot of people are writing negative comments about John and I can't see the reason why. I gave him a chance and listened to his work and he really is a great guitarist, he keeps the blues guitar playing alive. His influences are the greatest guitarists ever and he knows what they're about and you can see that in his music. I rather listen to a bluesy guitarist with a more pop style than to Lady Gaga and non-musical shit like that. Damn this era and the lack of original musicians.

I don´t understand why the surprise that there is no lesson here, in clearly says "teaser" on the title. John Mayer is an excellent guitar player and it appears from this teaser that he has a great sense o humor as well.

@rjgeigersmusic Ok, first, I've been playing guitar for quite a few years, and I understand what I'm talking about just fine. Pop doesn't mean all the Justin Beiber shit. It means Popular. SRV, Hendrix, Clapton, they all were pop stars at one time. You can't just group all of John Mayer's followers into one kind of person. That's stereotyping. Basing your judgement of Mayer just off of this video is ridiculous. He has some of the most tasteful, original guitar work I've ever seen.
