Here's the recipe and how to of this delicious Low Calorie Quiche Lorraine!

From Shape Magazine June 2011

You'll need:
3 Large Eggs
2 Large Egg Whites
12 Oz. Can Low-fat Evaporated Milk
1/4 tsp Salt
1/8-1/4 tsp Cayenne Pepper (to taste)
5 Slices Low Sodium Bacon
2/3 Cup Grated Swiss Cheese (reduced fat if you can find it)
4 Scallions
1 Frozen Pie Shell (whole-wheat if you can find it)

Oven set to 375°F, bake center of the oven rack in the middle for 45-50 minutes until puffed up and center is wobbly. Remove from oven and let cool for 8-10 minutes. Knife inserted in to the center should come out moist but clean. Ta-da! Quiche!

  • @curestruck Yeah, they're pretty cool. I think I'll keep 'em. ;) lol

  • @ML0822 At 2:28 I show the calories. The quiche is 8 servings and 244 calories per serving. I'm glad you liked it. It's super easy to make. If you try it let me know. Maybe even film it with a video response!
