  • You Dem said u would do something. U Dems have done NOTHING. Patrick Leahy the most powerful CONGRESSMEN does nothing. NOTHING. Never ever vote for a Dem or Rep again. Save America vote Ind or third party. PLEEEESSSEEE

  • so will be the democrates too they already done."100 billion $". ah a

  • Why is anything classified to me if its classified someone is fucking up and needs to be held accountable. Is the answer not to ask questions or question authority...WTF? I don't give a damn what political party you come from any political leader represents the people the people have a right to know what is going on our checks and balances need to start doing their job!

  • Vote Democrats in 2008 to put Cheney and his cronies in jail. They have betrayed the American taxpayers.

  • Damned if you do, and damned if you don't. This Welcher knows full well that the minute they disclose anything they will charge them with any number of crimes and contract violations. They refuse to get the FBI's spying crimes solved, because the govt. wont release the agent's names. Another dog and pony show. Generally, meaningless drivel, again.

  • unfortunately, the executive branch is responsible for making sure congress gets those reports, which i don't think is going to be happening any time soon.

  • Security contractors are doing a great job. They are neither mercenaries nor war profiteers. They are professionals. You may occasionally get a 'bad apple' but it is the same in every company or organisation. I am currently engaged in research for a PhD, examining the emergence and possible future direction of PMSCs, so I think I am qualified to give an OBJECTIVE opinion. Keep up the good work all you contractors, and stay safe!

  • Guilty!

  • I am VERY impressed with the fact that Democrats are having hearings on war proifterring, the reconstruction fruad, glabal warming etc. More than Bush did in seven years! The most important to me is the war profiterring because it will expose why we are in Iraq and how Bush is no patriot. Letting soldiers die for Halliburton etc? PLEASE NANCY, keep up the good work. As people learn propaganda machines like Fox News will become clear to many. Once they know the facts!

  • War profiteering is mind-boggling!Halliburton/KBR/Blackwater has approximately 100,000 people in Iraq. Nobody knows for sure. Our troops are paid $20,000-$35,000 per year. Halliburton/KBR/Blackwater people are paid $100,000-$160,000 per year to do the same jobs, Now you know why Bush needs so much money for his buddies. This is the most obscene, sickening case of war profiteering in history. It's mind-boggling that our system of checks and balances has been so horribly undermined
