This video shows some of the things I checked and a few repairs I made on a preventive maintenace call. I try to be extremely meticulous and adhere to one rule; prevent things from failing. Don't just check a couple readings and call it a day.

  • Good Video!

My opinion on a contactor thats burned like that one was. Recommend to Change it out if the home owner will do it or one day-probably the hottest day of the year it will fail( compressor will not start or worse) .arcing of the pitted contacts is no good for a compressor windings.

Fyi---i am sure u know your tools, but insulation will set off a leak detector sometimes. u gotta be careful on that one-sometimes.

What i Would like to have seen was the Air Filter? how was it?

  • @OcRefrigeration very nice, I did not know that about the insulation. Thanks for the tip. The air filter and coil were fine. They were using a higher resistance filter, but it was clean.

  • Another great video, keep up the good work. I learn something new with each video, helps me and others. Good job look forward to seeing some more.

  • @atcherservice1 thanks so much
