Here's a demo which shows a way to produce WAV sound files with TEXT

(Actually, from ANY SHAPE YOU WANT)

This way you can hide some secret messages into small wav files and send them. The receiver must know how to open the sound file and read WAVEFORM data to understand secret message.

"Which programs did you use?"

- Coagula Light 1.666

- Sonic Visualizer

  • GREAT way to hide tekst =)

Except for the fact that the noise is kinda obviously hiding something.

Im currently working on some methods to hide tekst in SONGS and that you can't even hear that something is hidden.

    If I have perfected this I will post a how-to video ;).

  • haha i tried it it works perfectly

  • I did this, and it worked, but the text was slightly closer together, as if it had been resized to be smaller horizontally, and the text was smeared downwards...

  • Latest version has been tried and on Windows 7 64bit, even in compatibility mode, I can't start the Sonic Visualizer.

    Bummer.

  • I tried this, and I'm pretty sure I followed all the instructions, but the visualization just had bars of color where the sound was, roughly shaped like letters, no shape. Anyone else get this problem?

  • i have this program very cool

  • Thanks!!!

  • @ricodmir

Foobar2000 has an "Visualisation" option for a spectrometer (It works for real yes) Dont know if that works on mac/linux though...

  • Is there a similar application for decoding the message hiden in the audio file for mac (instead of coagula light that is not available for mac)?

  • FUCK NICE SONG Whats it called IT RULES
