must make it clear for 1st timers, the rou means meat. niu is cow, so niu rou is beef. ji is chicken so ji rou is chicken meat. just so people don't get it confused and start calling chicken by ji rou !

Benny im a college student enrolled in a 101 mandarin class next semester. I would like to learn a new language either for the business world or for the army. Would rosetta stone mandarin be a good head start before I start next semester?
