@klepetar You're right. Even Satriany uses fast stuff sparringly because he knows it saturates the piece as a whole taking air from it.

yea really...just totally ruined the finish and now only a dumb fuck would buy that guitar. Typical French....Just give up...hahahaha....instead of mastering their practice. jus surrender guitar playing like you guys do everything else. lol

@sanjinator17 fast sucks. all these shredders are mediocre songwriters. the exception is van halen and perhaps sometimes joe satriani gets a good tune out there..

How about getting faster by practicing instead of ruining the fucking finish on my guitar.

The necks on all of my guitars move at the same speed; 0mph!!!
Back when I wanted to play faster I had to work on it by practicing at a slower pace to build muscle memory skills... then slowly speed up till I reached the desired speed I was looking for!
And guess what!!! I still do the same thing because it works so much better than any snake oil elixir or any "trick of the day" like this! And, if your hand drags / sticks to the neck of your guitar you should probably be thinking more about soap

@SqualoSurf20 yep. It's true, eddie van halen also said it. His signature guitars are unfinished for that same reason. "Skin oil is better than any synthetic crap" Or something along those lines.
