  • This is really neat. at around 8:21, this may be totally wrong, but is that a quick shot of a scene from the movie Help! ?

  • @mamaunderscoresays Close! It's from the "I am the Walrus" sequence of "Magical Mystery Tour"

  • Is acid as good as this?

  • acid is WAY better than this. this isn't even as good as a cup of coffee.

  • If only we had brave and honest artists like Patti today. She is the complete opposite of the braindead, mind numbing trash that passes for music today.Patti was not just a rock musician, she was a poet,a female Rimbaud,a true artist not a fake money making product like music now.Could you imagine if Patti,Rimbaud, and Jim Morrison could write a book of poetry together? That would be incredible.

  • Throw in Jeff Buckley and Bob Dylan for spice and that'd be quite some dish. And yeah, I think Soulja Boi having a #1 hit is defiantly a sign of the Apocalypse.

  • there was a time when rock was proud(artists) of his name...and they know that is the only way people could see the freedm (1955 - 1979)

  • Awesome video. Good work. Patti is a goddess

  • did anyone notice it skipped 9:20?????????? ;D

  • There's some parts from the movie Requiem for a Dream in this video. Patti Smith is the best .

  • @OrchidOxycodone Wrong. she was a punk musician, a poet and a true artist

  • those poodles are fucking weird.

  • @4:19 Twin Peaks?

  • Those poodles are scary, man.

  • @OrchidOxycodone All I see are comments lamenting the absence of good music. Don't let what's on the radio blind you to what's really out there. Good music is still being made. Listen to John Frusciante's newest album, "The Empyrean". Use some initiative; don't wait for the radio to play great music. Explore Daniel Johnston -- he's a fucking miracle and as great an artist as anyone you mentioned (though, admittedly, he's overmedicated now, in the 80's and 90's his madness was prolific).

  • whoa.. those videos are messed up..
