I'M SO HAPPY I MET ED ASNER! He's a really, really sweet person! And he's the heart of the film "Up."

We talked about:

Why he joined the cast of "Up"
The beautiful film called "Up"
The sad moments of the film
The funny parts of "Up"
The moral of the story

  • your a good interviewer! Usually you get the idea that an interviewer only wants to get the questions out in a certain amount of time (you know, not really interested at all in the actor), but you either are genuinly interested in the guy or should be a paid actor XD

  • @sheogorath19 Thank you :) I was genuinely interested with the guy, the process of making one of the best films of 2009, and Pixar :) Have a great day!

  • WOOOOOOW you are so lucky you interviewed him! congrats manny!

did you interviewed some of the *twilight saga: eclipse* cast? ;D

  • @regineanne21 Thanks! No, I wasn't able to interview the Eclipse cast, but I did interviewed Rob Pattinson for Remember Me :)

  • I strongly hate manny the movie guy he never takes anything serious. Movies deserves to be treated with resepct, especially this one

  • Really? Why so serious? Check all my interviews and reviews again, and read between the lines...but thanks for watching and have a great day! Manny

  • I loved Mr. Fredricksen in this movie. Ed Asner was really great in this role!

...I'm sorry, I know it's completely obviously but I have to say it: he looks so OLD!

  • The interviewer is pompous in the extreme.

Ed Asner is very gracious tho.

  • That guy is TOTALLY FILIPINO.

  • @mdelar If only we could all forget "Remember Me".

  • Are you fillipino???

  • That was awesome you got to meet him. He's a great voice actor.

  • So beautiful to see you enjoying the interview...and its so refreshing to see a filipino interviewer with such enthusiasm....oh what's i'd give to do the same thing...I'm so fascinated by interviews like this! <3

  • Really nice, unimprovable interview for this movie...

They made the good guy look like Spencer Tracy, and Asner was the logical choice to provide the voice. They made the villain look like (brilliantly) Melvyn Douglas... and I regret to say, I have no idea who voiced him.

  • Master Vrook on Dantooine. LIKE if you're a KOTOR fan! I wanna know what happened to Lord Revan!

  • You talk like Cameron from Modern Family

  • Ed Asner looks and sounds and acts exactly like my drivers ed instructor. . . .

I asked if I he had any relatives with the name of Carl Fredericson and he didn't get the joke.

  • Moral of the Story: To not necessarily live in the past, be open to present, and anticipate the future :)
