  • Hi, I was doing specific training in this video to do an ultra marathon. It was not for fitness or weight loss, so I would recommend you check out the Concept 2 website for some good training plans. You could also approach this in the same way as running in terms of time and effort. I'm a former (injured) runner and love the erg. Good luck!

  • I'd love to see that - LMAO

  • Thanks evahilhorst1 :)

I did do the 100 km in June and recovered more quickly than when I ran a marathon a number of years ago. It all boiled down to training with a sensible plan and proper form.

  • Thanks! LOL!

    Actually my back feels great.

  • Wow!!! Way to fight through it. Inspirational!

  • Thanks Jeff!

  • each day that is........

  • I want to get a concept 2 to lose weight and get fit. Currently i run but start to hurt from all the pounding. How much do you row each, you look in really good shape??

  • You are truly amazing :O

Especially mentally strong! Adorable level, seriously....

  • I tried doing 60k once, but I failed at around 48k. I didn't notice my cigarette had fallen out of my mouth until it burned my crotch. Ouch! I've since smartened up and switched to smoking a pipe while I row. It's more nautical.

  • Wow! I'm speechless. Keep it up.

  • Well done. And I do not agree with the comment by Turdnuggets (). If well trained and with good technique you can do this without too much risk of injury.

But you do need a lot of stamina and pure courage, well done!
