The comparison of Tom Bowes' rendition of SVHTG is not only unfair but pointless. He does a good job interpreting the song, as does current singer Larry Braggs. Neither hits every nuance that made the tune unforgettable. And, don't forget, you're also hearing live v. the studio recording radio version you're playing in your memory and comparing it to.

Speaking of which, when did those that needed to finally get sober ?? Garibaldi didn't come back on the TOP scene til 98, and from what I've read elsewhere on here he took a hiatus from the band because of other's issues ..........

Digging this guy's sound. Nice and smooth, not over the top and a nice range. Cut the brother a break unless you've been on the stage, night after night, like some of us.

@darrellrw2 From the info I got on the internet, Bartlett went on to play for a San Francisco band called Pure Honey. He passed away about 15 or so years ago, OD'ed. Shame, he did some great work on Urban Renewal.
