I've upgraded my Turnigy Monster Beatle to be the fastest Turnigy Monster Beatle in the world.
This "World's Fastest" claim is limited to this model, and this model only, it does not include anything else!
Think you can make yours go faster? BRING IT ON!!!!!
If you would like to challenge this video and make it step down as the fastest Turnigy Monster Beatle, please make a video and post it! You must measure a reference distance on the ground, and have video showing the vehicle passing this distance, from this the speed can be calculated, and it can be determined if you have the faster beatle or not!
May the challenge begin!

Cheers!

NOTE: EBAY USERS - BE WARNED THAT PAYPAL AND EBAY BUYER PROTECTION EXPIRES 45 DAYS AFTER THE TRANSACTION, YOU MUST FILE A DISPUTE IF YOU HAVE ANY PROBLEMS, OTHERWISE PAYPAL AND EBAY WILL NOT HELP YOU!!
I KNOW THIS BECAUSE I GOT RIPPED OFF, AND THERE'S NOTHING THEY WILL DO!
I HOPE YOU READ THIS, AND I HAVE SAVED YOU FROM THE SAME MISTAKE.

  • What kind of tires are on your car?

  • @AllAboutGeckos

They're Kyosho Mini Inferno tires, something like this that you can find on ebay: "1/16 Kyosho IHTH02W Mini Inferno Micro Block Tire White Wheel & Tire Set"

  • I'll take that challenge! But how much modifications is allowed? To fit some really insane KV, ESC and cooling systems will require some drastic changes of the chassis :)

  • @smoke2bacco

    Awesome! Welcome to the challenge!

You can do anything you want, as long as the chassis is a Turnigy Monster beatle.

Consider it the same as racing Subaru's, they replace the engine, suspension, rims, transmissions, clutches, seats, hoods, same rules apply. Most of it goes! Add nitrous if you want lol.

I put a bigger motor into mine, took some grinding of the body, but you can do whatever you want, as long as it's the same chassis.

    May the fastest beatle win!

  • Hi again I wanted to ask if there was any chance of fitting a 380 or 540 size motor in this car thanks.

  • @random1265

    Hi,

A 540 motor is too big, it's approx 36mm in diameter. The motor I used is 30mm in diameter(47mm long). It can fit if you use a dremal and grind a bit of plastic away, but it'll fit without having to grind the bottom plate, so the alterations are minimal. A 540 would stick out the bottom, or require major modifications.

If you can make yourself a mount, you can mount anything on there.

  • wow

  • I have one set up for my son with the End point on the throtle set to 35%. This is one crazy car even in stock form..

  • @random1265

The fan I have came stock on the 60A ESC I purchased from Ebay.

The motor is a 4900kV motor from Hobbyking, it can handle about 800W peak, 500W continuous.

  • if anyones looking for a metal chassis then look one up on nitrotek or anyother website as the acme pioneer chassis peace out
