Here's a requested tutorial on how to play Pokemon Platinum on NO$GBA.
===============================================
Download English Platinum ROM - http://www.megaupload.com/?d=N9LTRMT4

Download NO$GBA here - http://nocash.emubase.de/gba.htm ( You gotta scroll down and read a little bit)
===============================================
Emulator Settings -
Change Emulation Speed to : Realtime Auto

Change Reset / Startup Point to : Startup Directly

Change GBA Mode to : VBA (Poppy bright)

Change GBA Cartridge Backup Media to : Auto

Change NDS Cartridge Backup Media to : Flash 512k

Change Sound Output to : Digital Stereo (If its off it might cause errors)

Change Sound Desired Sample Rate : High 44kHz

3D Renderer - opengl (Works best for me)
===============================================
These settings work for a huge variety of .nds games, so don't forget them!

Hope I helped, cya!

  • when i load up platinum it says the save data could not be accessed, help?

    i did everything in the video so idk what happened...

  • @AlgebraicBacon Hmm if your trying to acess it from an R4 or AceCard you need a NDS Save File Converter. But if not you might have to name the save file the exact same as the ROM. For instance "Pokemon Platinum.nds" and make the save file "Pokemon Platinum.sav". You can rename it too, it won't mess anything up in most cases. If your still having problems send me a message so I can help.

  • @NewBeginning2011 I tried changing it to a .sav file but still nothing. Any other ideas?

  • @AlgebraicBacon The ROM should be.nds once you play the game on the emulator you just save it normally like you would on any DS then there should be a BATTERY folder (if not make one) and the save file (.sav) sholud be there and when you load the game on the emulator it shoulsd work.

  • Thank you, been trying to work this thing for days, this is like the only vid that works

  • @AngrySide No problem.

  • @NewBeginning2011 Hey, will you please re-upload the download link to another site, like mediafire for example? please? :c

  • FUCK SOPA.

  • @TheNickandoliver Ok I assume your using NO$GBA. Make a Folder in the same folder the emulator is in (the triangle). Name it SLOT then make on saying BATTERY. Put the Pokemon Platinum ROM file in the folder you made "SLOT". Then right-click the emulator and find the folder slot and open it up and select the ROM and make sure you have the right settings. (In description) and it should work. Hope I helped!

  • thx real helpful

  • I love you so much for this
