@AdelayeM I think what he's really in love with is the rock and roll romance of the old pirate Keith Richards. POTC is a vehicle for him to live out his fantasy of being a rock star. Nothing wrong with that, I just think Depp is badly overrated and the POTC films are another series of computer-driven artless cash cows.

@momsazombie1 Johnny loves POTC, as well do millions of people. He's not doing it for the money, he genuinely loves it and has fun being Jack Sparrow... If he didn't, he wouldn't have tattooed Jack's tattoo on his arm and he wouldn't have named his son Jack.
