Let nothing be too sacred to question...

  • This video illustrates one truth. The only excuse for God is that he DOES NOT exist.

  • I think it's so sad that people have to go through the trouble of rationalizing and justifying Adonai's actions, like the man in the video did. If you come to the conclusion that "Adonai is not good, he was not ever good", I don't see how that can cause anything other than the implosion of Jewish theology and everything built on it (Christianity, Islam, Mormonism, etc). Rationally there could not be any reason to believe in that god anymore, there could only be an unwillingness to let him go.

  • @WorkOverTime

    Well said :)

  • Powerful stuff, and completely airtight. God cannot be all-good if he allows the innocent to suffer as the innocent are undeserving of such suffering, the contradiction is clear here, to deny this is plain ignorance. You could still have a God (Although I don't believe in him) but there is no way he could be all-good, not after what he's supposedly done.

  • @TharosTheDragon When they're being slaughtered wholesale for being those believers. "God betrayed us" is a pretty understandable response.

  • You know, there seem to be like five copies of this posted on youtube (or more), all full of Atheist vs Theist debates... yet... this man is not arguing that there is no god. He's saying that god is a massive jerk that is making them suffer for no reason. Quite a different feeling! It's interesting that all the comments go in such a different direction than depicted.

  • yukkurishiteittene!!!

  • God doesn't exist and if he did he would be the biggest criminal of all time.Take your pick.

  • It's hard to imagine this scene ever happening. Yes, intelligent people who study their religions closely often come to the conclusion that their god is fake or even evil, but when do they ever present those ideas to a group of their fellow believers?

  • Luckily, for God, the bible is at best hearsay.

  • I love this movie, it moves me to tears every single time.
