If people want to sell him as jealous, angry, vengeful, psychopathic, hypocritical, incompetent, inconsistent, double standard, and most of all masochistic, then I don't have an argument. I don't know where people get loving or peaceful. What I get from the Judeo-Christian god is fear. Just outright horror. He even burns most of his followers for eternity.

I can't believe they forgot to include in this scene that their god forced Pharaoh to disobey him. Remember what the Bible said... Their god hardened Pharaoh's heart!

I take it that's code for: "I don't understand". There's little I can do if you don't have the critical thinking skills to grasp the point; I'm afraid you are far from alone, as this problem affects most religious fundamentalists.

Jesus never once said: Worship Me.

Just because someone won't allow themselves to go along with what a certain group thinks, say about a movie, doesn't mean what that that person thinks is not objectively correct on either side. Besides, it's a thinking persons movie. Those inevitably do very poorly. If they tried to remake a modern Socrates Allegory of the Cave, it would collossally fail. And your assertion of mindless, jibbering, arguments between athiest and theists well, your probably right.

Why do we insist that for God to be compassionate that Gods reality MUST meet with our own? And why when it does not, we insist that we are correct in our assertions that God must be powerless and uncompassionate. This is a tremendously infantile reaction.

People don't make movies like this so it can garner 80k views on YouTube... they'd never have received funding if that were the goal. That said, nobody saw the movie. It appears that it never even had theatrical distro. It's been 5 years and it's not become some cult classic. Why? Because the movie is not good. The ONLY reason is getting views here is because it's another forum for internet atheists and theists to battle with each other.

I believe the majority of us would quite strongly disagree with you. If the acting really was that poor, I imagine that this video would have garnered more negative reactions. As it stands. it seems to be quite popular.

So what we have in the end, is you complaining that your unpopular opinion is unpopular, and then going on to make a baseless assertion.

"When God asked Abrahama to sacrifice his son, he should have said, 'No.'"

The same thing every father on Earth has thought to himself the second his first son was born. What God would ask a father to slaughter his son? Not a benevolent, loving God. Certainly not a "God" worthy of worship.
