Gevey Ultra unlock of iPhone 4 on 5.0.1

This video shows a tethered jailbroken iPhone 4 on 5.0.1 being unlocked by the Gevey ultra SIM adapter. It's a little complicated so check out the video. Note, you must preserve your baseband at 1.59, 2.10, 3.10.1, 4.10.1 for this to work (use redsn0w, Pwnagetool, or sn0wbreeze to preserve baseband when upgrading). Any newer baseband such as 4.11.08 is not compatible with the Gevey SIM. (Update: The process is similar on an untethered jailbroken iPhone, except you don't have to do the boot tethered step.)

@ghettoboss361 the Gevey doesn't work for 04.11.08. Your only options are to get another phone, or buy an unlocked iPhone.

my Modem-Firmware is 04.11.08 but its don't work :(

@ghettoboss361 that's because the Gevey won't work with modem firmware 04.11.08. You have to have an older modem firmware for the Gevey to work.
