While anchored in Key West Florida, the sailing vessel Snow Goose was hit by a waterspout at 2 AM, with a wind gust of 117 MPH, rolling the boat 90 degrees, until the masthead was in the water. This broke the bobstay, which cracked the main mast. Trapped onboard for 2 days until the wind finally subsided to about 45 MPH.
