  • Nice dubbing of daylight express in the beginning.

  • @SierraRailway When the mine shut down in 1994, my dad had to find work else-where, so we ended up in Las Vegas. But hopefully after 16 years I'll be getting out of this place and going somewhere better. Unfortunately theres no work in Jamestown or Sonora, and a little too much family history, but Railtown has always fueled my love of trains, and I hope someday to be back on Number 3. Its always fun to tell people I remember seeing multicolored smoke when filming for Back to the Future.

  • Davkuy

why not? No longer in the area?

  • I grew up in Jamestown, hearing these trains. It is awesome to see #3 back in operation. We could always tell which locomotive they were running, who the engineer was, and where they were, just by the sound of the whistle. Awesome video, wish I could go for another ride.

  • Just for your consideration, Railway is abbreviated Ry.

  • Awsome Shots. Sierra Railway #3 is my favorite operating standard gauge steam in ever. :D I love that engine. :)
