One thing you forgot to tell young lady conducting the interview is when she gets out in the real world and starts working for a living, how much of her hard earned tax dollars will go to USDA subsidy payments. Bet she won't think it's so great then.

@5harvester Actually that's not true. Did you know that more than 80% of the Farm Bill goes to nutrition programs and much of the remainder is for conservation programs that are highly valued by our society. THAT'S THE TRUTH!

@5harvester Farm Billing spending: Domestic nutrition programs 67%; Commodity crop supports (cotton, corn, soybeans, wheat, milk, mushrooms, avacados, etc) 14%; conservation programs 9%; insurance 8%; remainder for rural development, disaster relief, research, forestry & other. check National Ag Law center for actual numbers
