This is a video tutorial for sewing a fitted diaper / nappy. The sewing time is 5minutes or less + whatever time you need to apply snaps or velcro.

  • The seamstress in this video is good, she makes 12 diapers an hour. At home using regular machines you can expect to make 4 per hour with a little practice.

  • @shabbynchic1 i agree....not everyone has an industrial machine. it also doesnt take in to acct. the time spent cutting the pattern pieces out.

  • @tygrzluv could have muted it....

  • @shawnakauffeld ~ Thanks!

  • @Titus2Mama a

She was using a "Little Green Bear" pattern. Its found on their website

They sell precuts of their fabric, so you can make it for cheap, check it out! :)

  • What pattern are you using?

  • @katidwight when making the casings, you sew through the elastic at each end, tacking it down, but when you sew down the side creating a casing, it's important to not catch the elastic in your stitches. The elastic should be tacked at both ends, but otherwise move freely inside the casing.

  • when u say sew beside the elastic, does that mean, dont sew on the elastic at all? Im new to this thats all?

  • I want your machines!!!

  • that music was annoying, the video was good though
