FFXIV: My thoughts on FFXIV as of 1/9/2012 (and a demonstration of the Combo System)

Ok, so as some of you may know I did a first impressions video discussion about FFXIV some time last year or back in 2010 where I and a couple of friends discussed how we felt about the game. I admittedly had a few gripes with the game which hurt my original experiences, but a friend of mine had told me that the game had drastically changed, and I decided to give it another go, this time with a completely fresh mind, and I liked what I saw! anyway in this video I attempt to demonstrate the combo system that was added in fairly recently. Basically if you use a weaponskill (properly) you can gain a "combo bonus" in which another weaponskill in that chain will light up with which you can then use at no cost, and with bonus effects attached. to use the WS properly means to see what the WS says if it says something like "Deals bonus damage from behind the target" or something to that effect, it means if you want the combo, y ou'll have to connect the WS from behind (this I also tried to demonstrate in the video) anyway I hope you enjoy it! and lemme know what you guys think!

@DarkRikdyou123 Its not out for PS3 just yet, no, but it will be I believe either by the end of this year, or the start of next. Pretty much around the launch of FFXIV2.0

@WhitemageSerenia I played FFXI from 2008-2011 on my 360. However now have a PC that can (Hopefully) run FFXIV, and I am thinking about buying it today because I have really been wanting to try it out. Would you find your self able to recommend it? Also really loved your commentary, your the kind of charismatic commentator I expect to have quite a fan base.

Why are these games so badly made? all the other final fantasys are so stylish, the menus are slick and easy to pick up, this is just a mess of menus and bugs.

@WhitemageSerenia Nah it's okay :P And yeah, it was a spin-off, just for people who didn't like MMO's could have this. Still wasn't that good really.
