My neighbors at UCSB, unworthy of their own home's beautiful locale, decided to burn a stage built for a rather large party we held in our shared backyard. When the flames came close to igniting the cypresss trees they attempted to throw the flaming stage into the sea (the band had left the stage at this point). Thankfully, the fire department arrived to extinguish the blaze, and when I came home around 6am this is the scene I found:

I was at that party. It was about 6 years ago or so, maybe more. My friends lived in the house on the right facing the beach. My car was in front on DP and got keyed that night. My friends and I were the ones who lit the stage on fire and threw part of it over the cliff before the fire department came and put it out.
Good times... Can't believe I came across this video.
