Our review sample is the highest-end 15-inch base configuration, with a 2.66GHz Core i7 CPU, 4GB of RAM, a 500GB hard drive, and Nvidia GeForce GT330M discrete graphics. The 15- and 17-inch MacBook Pros have "automatic graphics switching," an Apple-engineered variation on Nvidia's Optimus graphics-switching technology.

  • i'm a apple user but what there are doing is ridiculous to poor people. fuck apple cause you can get o Sony i7 for 1000 dollars which is a 15.6" . i was waiting so long for the upgrade to get the 13" with at least i3 processor. so i guess i will have to stick with my new imac 21" with dedicated video card i purchase like a month ago but i also need a laptop for school.

  • @marlibuu Agree, but there is something special about apple products. All we need is money! ;-)

  • There is a HDMI option just have to buy the converter cord.....

  • @marlibuu Your Sony "F" i7 comparison is the cheapest line among all of the Sony lines of laptops. Their expensive line "Z" is more expensive the MBP. Can't compare cheap plastic, third-rate screen VS aluminium, world-class screen & design. If anything, compare the Z to the MBP. Notice the "Pro".

  • @jsmith5549 the thing is that you got Pro users who require even more power than the current gen of mobile pcs can provide.

  • CORRECTION: HDMI is available through an adapter (mini display port to HDMI) so that was a mistake on your side there

  • I don't understand the big deal about I5 and I7 VERY FEW programs even utilize the power they are capable of and a lot of programs are just starting to use intel core 2 duo. Save your money on all computers. Don't upgrade to any right now.

Yes I am a huge apple fan. PC& Mac's with intel core 2 duo is fine for any application that 99% of people need.
