it does say in the guide to noobs is to ignore them...but to some those tards see it as some sort of victory. and...the bet way to deal with is beating them at their own game and showing that the person they are attacking..isn't the kind to attack without threat for retaliation...noobs attack newbs because newbs are weak and generally defenseless....against such attacks..and so the noob get their lols and boost of their pathetic self esteem.

Phishing is a good way to spam without being able to be directly connected to it. However, other reasons such as general boredom or just plain asshole-ish-ness are also common motivators. Hell, some people, like Trolls, treat Phishing just like FISHING-- They treat it like a sport. However, I feel I should note, Phishing is technically 'illegal', though it happens alot and no real punishment is handed down, as it's hard to trace and prove. Internet Jihadists take care of Phishers, though.
