Judge not lest ye be judged? Actually, Christians are commanded to judge, but to make a right judgment. The Bible declares that the spiritual man makes judgments about all things. Christians are to judge those inside the church such as the sexually immoral man of 1 Cor 5 who was wicked and needed to be kicked out of the congregation. This is unheard of in today's apostate church.
The type of judging condemned by Scripture is hyprocritcal judgment. The plank must first be removed so that you can then judge the speck in your brother's eye. We cannot judge disputable matters (Rom 14) nor can we judge motive (1 Cor 4:5).
Paul judged others (1 Cor 7) and Peter commended Simon for making a right judgment (Lk 7:40-43). Indeed Jesus commanded us to make a right judgment (Jn 7:24).
