Do you notice any torque steer on your SS? From what I heard FWD and V8's don't make the best combination. However, the car sounds wicked when you start it.

@91lumina well what you might want to try is: purchase an aluminum or metal intake pipe for the intake and this should create a more throaty sound to it!!

@demariojason cool i will have to think about gettin one...i kinda wish the cold air sounded a little meaner like my old Weapon-r did on my 2003 monte

@91lumina I installed mine about 6 or 7 months ago! And it has that whistling sound @ 2300 RPM. Now other people on LS Tech don't really care for the sound but hey,...I like it! and it did improve on the response,..not a seat in pants difference,...but you can feel a slight increase!

@demariojason just got my k&N installed yesterday....its pretty sweet...have you put a throttle body spacer on yours?

@silentspencer45 cool deal,.check out my "very loud monte carlo" and check out the difference of the car now. You would enjoy it. Oh and BTW that burnt orange would look fucking superb on it!!
