the super punches can land, and it would have knocked him out faster. Unfortunatley for me the lag created by my recording device threw off my timing and so the fight dragged on.

His flurries have a pattern, you have to block low (b y pressing no directions i.e. a neutral stance) than block high (by pressing up) low, high, low, high, etc.
Then you dodge his uppercut and punish him accordingly.
