At the Barcelona Cathedral on Sundays there is a patriotic dance called the Sardana. The Catalans perform this charming dance as a symbol of sharing and unity.

  • I grew up in Catalunya, and they teached me how to dance it, now I don't live there anymore, but still love to dance Sardanas, it's something very special, and I understand that many people don't feel it, it's different if you know it from your childhood.

  • @kyp17 Yes, the band that plays Sardanas is a Cobla, but the Copla, is another music style from Spain, more from the south or center. The catalan coblas play Sardanas, a national traditional dance and music from CAtalunya.

  • The name of this sardana is "Autumn promise"

  • The name of this sardana is "Promesa de tardor" by Josep Cassú
