Dot Hack Infection - Skeith Terror of Death ( Part 1 of 3 )

The first boss of the "Cursed Wave" in the dot hack Infection game is Skeith the terror of death. This is the final boss of the game. In my opinion he is probably one of the mosty challenging bosses because it is challenging to advance past level 33 in dot hack infection. Most enemies only give you 1 Experience point past level 33, and because I didn't want to fight 1000 battles to level up I went into it at around level 33.

should i buy the series? i really wanna play for the storyline mainly to know what happened but just the menu scrolling while you battle is a little confusing for me. its similar to the final fantasy XIII right now where everything is real time except this seems a LOT more hardcore. i'd love to play this but i wanna make sure i'm not wasting my money. please comment soon

@ContradictoryLilac My 2 Cents: Granted the graphics are dated but I felt the games were worth it for the engrossing storyline and crazy battles. The game does consist of alot of menu driven commands and to get your characters to fine tune their attacks during difficult battles. I wouldn't go out of my way though if the games themselves command outrageous prices. Getting all four games might be difficult. I had to comb ebay for the fourth title when i first got the series six years ago.

where did you get the rare weapon that you have? i have infection and have beat it multiple times, but i was wondering if you could give me the locations of some really awesome rare items?

Wonder why everyone seems to be having a hard time with Skeith. Never played Infection, but from Mutation and on the bosses were challenging but never really deadly like this one apparently is.

Are people just underleveled or is he just ridiculously overpowered?

Watching this really takes me back. I remember trying to use Twin Dragons on Skeith for the first time. He one-shot me for 660 damage.

I don't think this battle is really hard. Just long. Buy 99 Resurrects, Antidote, and Restorative. Give 33 of each to your other two party members, hack and slash until dead.
