It looks like I won't have to leave the IBEW after all for $10.00/hr. Our MOU just passed in May at 58 allows for the hiring off the street at $10/hr if we don't fill the CE/CW calls to the Kons satisfaction. Big Kiss.

As a union member I have to give you a big smooch, Honda Guy. (I would consider dropping the user name though, if you wanted to make a few friends here - I am from Detroit Local 58).

Now about that anger. Good. Now channel it. Use it to scratch a bit of the surface here and think about what's going on around you - the branding - the scheme to end the JIW classification with CE/CW - and the games the International are playing with the workers they pretend to represent.

You might want to educate yourself on CE/CW and the replacement workers Ed Hill wants to change the membership of our Union with.

You might realize who are the selfish and who's doing the attacking of the membership - the brotherhood - and just how disgusting Multi-Tier Wage systems are to unions.

but with that being said the honda is for the sterrtbikes. did you know they are more made in amarica than most of your domestic brands. is it so bad that our union that has been using the same method of "record keeping" for longer than you have been a member wants to get in to the 21st century??? and you know till the card is "perfected" you can still have a slip. so frm me as a life long 177(jacksonville fl) FUCK YOU !!!

I'm not sure if you realize this or not, or if you are truly a member of the IBEW. If you were you'd realize you already have a union card. It's that yellow ticket in your wallet. It's called a "dues receipt". Are you paid up? You can have one if you pay your dues. Teachers, Doctor nor Nurses have "special" plastic cards sent out to them with a branding on them.
